The second document is a duo of analysis charts for the Buona Fortuna Espresso Machine Quick Reference Guide (provided as an example for Specialized Expertise on this website). Each chart helps the author of the Guide to better understand her audience.
The example I provide is an analysis of two opposing articles on the controversial "pink slime" issue. I compare and evaluate the two articles for trustworthiness and bias.

Rhetoric
Rhetoric in technical communication deals with the ability to adapt communication and context to a specific audience and purpose. It also takes into account cultural interpretation and genre knowledge. This competency showcases the following abilities:
